Congratulations to the Garden of Eva!

Eva wrote me an email, expressing some frustrations with the panels on plot at the AWP conference. I replied, mentioning a sort of plot-rubric I picked up from John Truby’s Anatomy of Story. Eva imagined her own writing life in terms of this idea, wrote a blog post about it, and that blog post was immediately spotted by the Freshly Pressed people at WordPress. Congratulations to her, and hello to all the new people who decided to follow this blog as a result!

Welcome. It’s nice here. If you’d like more writing ideas, take a look at my “Seven Days to Get Writing Again” series. Each day has a new exercise; they start simply; get harder. I like that series a lot.

Best wishes to you all,
